Special Notes:
Flight Information: We have checked online and discovered the round-trip flights to and from Barcelona, Spain range from $1,149 to $1,326 (this year’s pricing). Most flights from Houston, Texas, have at least one stop. The flight times range from 15 hours (British Airways) to 24 hours (Iberia Airlines). We will continue to check flight pricing. There are always special offers online, so we plan to keep searching. We also discovered that there are non-stop flights from New York to Barcelona, Spain. Each individual is responsible for his or her flight. The Carnival Magic leaves the Barcelona port at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2011. BUT PLEASE DO NOT PANIC, we can all coordinate our flight schedules to keep us in a group
Carnival’s payment plan permits only 2 payments -- $500 per person due on or before April 21, 20010; Final payment due on or before April 1, 2011

If you book and then cancel within the first 30 days, all money is returned to you. After 30 days, there will be a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellation fees increase even more if you cancel within 45 days of the departure date.
Vacation-Protection Insurance (Optional): Inside Cabin $109; Ocean View $129; Balcony $149; Suite $179. The name of the insurance company that Carnival has contracted with is Berkley Care, Ph: 1-800-331-2796. Refunds are usually given for cancellations in cases of emergencies only.
A Possible Fuel Supplement Charge: Carnival has reserved the right (only if needed) to add $9 per person per day IF the price of oil goes over $70 per barrel. This would mean an extra $63 added to your cruise price.
Concerning Ocean View Cabins and Suites: They are booked on a first come, first-served basis. We (SOA) have actually “reserved” an allotment of Inside Cabins and Balcony Cabins. Carnival will reserve your Ocean View or Suite when the deposit is made.
